Magento Developer Job In Los Angeles

We are looking for a talented Senior LAMP / Magento Developer in Los Angeles to join Swagsy - a new website & platform that is going to rock the world of celebrity endorsements.

This isn't another I have an idea can you build it for me' Craigslist ad. Our core product is already built and we have strong relationships with many of Hollywood's power brokers that will throw us into the spotlight in a big way. However, when it comes to web products, there is no such thing as finished. We have a lot of cool projects planned that you'll be able to dive into.

Ideal Candidate

• will have in-depth knowledge of the Zend framework and Magento
• likes it from the back (back end development that is)
• has Linux sys admin experience and thinks SSH is the SSHIT (AWS experience a big plus)
• has experience designing and building large and complex (yet maintainable) systems and should be able to do so in about one-third the time that most competent people think possible
• has a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or the equivalent
• is able to communicate well
• is a star in their own right

Beauty & Fashion Product Curator

We are looking for a online shop-a-holic based in Los Angeles to join Swagsy - a new website & platform that is going to rock the world of celebrity endorsements.

Our Product Curators are specifically tasked with surfing the web for awesome, lesser known fashion and beauty brands that would be an ideal fit for the Swagsy Community and our Tastemakers. This means you will be one of our top scouts, aggressively seeking fun and interesting “wow” products that will excite and inspire our community. You will need to be comfortable reaching out to small independent designers and global brand name partners to gauge their interest.

Ideal Candidate

• lives and breathes fashion, beauty, etc
• is digitally savvy and a heavy social media user
• has an eye for cool products and understands merchandising
• is studying or has studied fashion/design at FIDM, OTIS, etc
• has relevant work experience with a fashion designer, retailer, website, etc
• is a confident communicator and works well in a team environment

Expect talented, motivated, intense, and interesting co-workers. Your compensation will include an hourly wage and commission on products you curate that end up being sold by our Tastemakers.

Above all we are looking for someone who is interested in being an early TEAM member of a startup adventure.
